Hog roast catering

Hog roast catering in King’s Lynn & Norfolk.

Locally sourced pork shoulder, slow-roasted until it falls apart, with proper crackling, stuffing and apple sauce - served generously by our team. From £36 per guest for 60 guests or more.

Slow-roasted hog roast with golden crackling, carved and ready to serve

A hog roast is one of the most generous ways to feed a crowd, and one of the easiest to get wrong. Ours is cooked low and slow on site so the meat is still steaming when it reaches the bun, the crackling actually cracks, and there is enough for the second helpings everyone hopes for.

We are a family-run catering team based at South Wootton, just north of King’s Lynn, cooking for many Norfolk celebrations every year. Hog roasts suit wedding evening food, milestone birthdays, anniversaries, christenings, corporate summer parties, harvest suppers and village celebrations - in barns, marquees, gardens and open fields across King’s Lynn, Downham Market, Swaffham, Hunstanton, Fakenham, Wisbech, Ely and the villages in between.

This is a fully staffed service rather than machine hire. Ryan will talk you through it personally - no packages you do not need.

Hog roast questions

The practical answers, plainly.

How much does a hog roast cost?
Our hog roast starts from £36 per guest for 60 guests or more, including service staff, a self-service tea and coffee station, and linen, glassware and tableware. Add four canapés per guest from £46, a pudding course from £45, or both from £55 per guest.
How many people does a hog roast feed?
We build our hog roasts for 60 guests or more and scale the number of pork shoulders to your final numbers, so nobody is left waiting at the back of the queue. For smaller gatherings, get in touch and we will put together something that suits the numbers rather than forcing you into a package.
What is served with the hog roast?
Locally sourced slow-roasted pork shoulder with crackling, sage and onion stuffing and apple sauce in a brioche bun, alongside buttery new potatoes, seasonal salads and a homemade slaw. It is generous, hot and served properly by our team.
Is this hog roast hire or a fully catered service?
It is a fully staffed catering service, not dry machine hire. We arrive, cook on site, serve your guests and clear away - you do not touch a thing.
Can a hog roast work as evening wedding food?
Yes - hog roast rolls are one of our most popular evening options after a wedding breakfast. As a standalone evening dish they typically work out at roughly £10 per guest, making them a generous and crowd-pleasing way to feed everyone without a complicated menu.
Can you do a hog roast outdoors or in a marquee?
We regularly cater hog roasts in marquees, barns, gardens and open fields across Norfolk. We need level ground, reasonable access and a little shelter for the carving station - tell us the site and we will tell you honestly what it needs.
What about guests who do not eat pork?
Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other requirements are prepared with the same care as the rest of the menu, never as an afterthought. Catering for particular dietary needs and allergies may incur an additional cost because of the extra preparation time and specialist ingredients involved.
Where do you cater hog roasts?
We are a family-run team based at South Wootton, just north of King's Lynn, covering Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Lincolnshire. Events more than 25 miles from PE30 may carry a small travel charge, discussed openly up front.
