From first enquiry to the last dance

The whole day, quietly looked after.

We’ll invite you to a tasting before finalising your menu where appropriate, so you can try what you’ll be serving your guests. Alongside the food we can look after the mobile bar and cocktails, drinks packages, waiting staff, venue styling and event support - as much or as little as you need.

Morning

01

Setting up

We’re on site early. Kitchen set, bar stocked, tables laid where we’re dressing the room too. Sophie will usually walk through the day with you and the venue before your guests arrive.

Ceremony

02

A warm welcome

As guests arrive we serve arrival drinks - a house pour, English fizz, or something we’ve created together for your day. The mobile bar, cocktail service or drinks package is open and pouring.

Canapés

03

The first bite

Canapés circulated with a light touch. Every menu is tailored to you and to what’s at its best locally that week - we’ll build it together after the first conversation.

Wedding breakfast

04

Modern British, at your pace

Wedding breakfasts are modern British and built around fresh Norfolk produce wherever possible. Plated, family-style sharing platters or long-table feasting - whatever suits your day.

Evening

05

Something more relaxed

Evening food is deliberately more relaxed. Stone baked pizzas, fully loaded fries and nachos, fish and chip cones, hog roast rolls, traditional buffets and more - the sort of thing guests come back for seconds of.

Late

06

Right through to the end

We stay right through to the end of the night. Bar service, late bites, tables cleared, glassware collected. You get to enjoy your day - we’ll handle the rest.

Rudd events were absolutely amazing! They did our wedding breakfast and we couldn’t have asked for better service and the food was exceptionally well presented and amazing quality - I couldn’t recommend highly enough!

Questions couples ask

Wedding catering, answered plainly.

How much does wedding catering cost in Norfolk?
Every wedding is priced to its own menu, guest numbers and service style rather than a fixed package. As a guide, most couples we cater for in Norfolk land between £45 and £75 per guest for a full wedding breakfast with canapés, and evening food is quoted separately. Full menu guidance is on our menus and pricing page.
Do you cater weddings in King's Lynn?
Yes. We are a family-run catering team based at South Wootton, just north of King's Lynn, cooking for many Norfolk celebrations every year. King's Lynn and west Norfolk weddings are on our doorstep, and we also cover the whole of Norfolk plus Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Lincolnshire.
Which Norfolk wedding venues do you work at?
We are recommended at many of Norfolk's best venues and are willing and equipped to work anywhere. From marquee weddings and barns to country houses and private celebrations, we cater across Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Lincolnshire.
Do you offer a tasting before the wedding?
Yes - we invite you to a tasting before finalising your menu where appropriate, so you can try exactly what your guests will be served and adjust anything before the day.
What food do you serve at a wedding breakfast?
Modern British food built around fresh Norfolk produce wherever possible - served plated, as family-style sharing platters, or as long-table feasting. Evening food is deliberately more relaxed: stone baked pizzas, fully loaded fries and nachos, fish and chip cones, hog roast rolls, traditional buffets and more.
Can you look after the bar and the drinks too?
We can. Arrival drinks, mobile bar and cocktail service, drinks packages, waiting staff, venue styling and event support are all available alongside the food - as much or as little as you need.
Can you cater for dietary requirements and allergies?
Yes. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and other requirements are prepared with the same care as the rest of the menu. Catering for specific dietary needs and allergies may carry an additional cost due to extra preparation time and specialist ingredients. Our kitchen handles all 14 major allergens regularly, so no menu can be guaranteed allergen-free.
How far in advance should we book our wedding caterer?
Most couples book us 12 to 18 months ahead, particularly for summer Saturdays. If your date is sooner, still ask - we will tell you honestly and quickly whether we can cover it.
