Mobile bar hire - Cambridge
Mobile bar hire in Cambridge.
A dressed bar, trained staff and drinks poured at the right moment, brought to weddings, parties and corporate events across Cambridge and Cambridgeshire by the same family team that cooks your food.

Cambridge is a straight run down the A10 for us, and we work the whole spread of venues around it - college and heritage rooms in the city, barns and marquees in the villages, and garden parties where the bar arrives on a trailer and leaves without a trace.
We cover Cambridge, Histon, Milton, Waterbeach, Grantchester, Madingley, Bourn, Cottenham, Swavesey, Newmarket and out towards Ely and Royston. Many of those sites are dry hire: no bar, no glassware, no licence. We bring the bar unit itself, glassware, ice, garnishes, refrigeration, trained bar staff and the appropriate event licensing.
Historic venues come with their own rules - curfews, no open flames, careful access and floor protection. We speak to the venue before the day so the bar is set up in a way they are happy with, and because we cook the food as well, the timings line up: arrival fizz with the canapés, wine on the table before the first course, toast drinks poured before the speeches.

Questions
Cambridge bar questions, answered plainly.
- Do you offer mobile bar hire in Cambridge?
- Yes. We bring a fully staffed mobile bar to weddings, parties and corporate events in Cambridge and across Cambridgeshire - college and city venues, barns, marquees, gardens and dry-hire halls alike. We are a family-run catering company based near King's Lynn, an easy run down the A10.
- How much does mobile bar hire cost in Cambridge?
- There is no flat hire fee. Your quote depends on guest numbers, hours of service and whether you want a cash bar, a pre-paid tab or a set drinks package. Evening bar service is generally free of charge when booked with one of our catering packages, and any travel is itemised openly rather than hidden in the drinks prices.
- Can you cover a dry-hire venue near Cambridge?
- That is most of what we do. Plenty of barns and marquee sites around Cambridge have no bar and no licence in place, so we arrive with the bar unit itself, glassware, ice, refrigeration, trained staff and the appropriate event licensing, then clear it all down at the end.
- Do you work with college and heritage venues?
- Yes. Historic rooms come with their own rules - no open flames, fixed curfews, restricted access routes and careful floor protection. We plan the bar around those conditions and speak to the venue directly beforehand so nothing is a surprise on the day.
- What kind of drinks do you serve?
- Reception fizz and Pimm's, wine chosen to sit beside your menu, premium well-known international brands, some local bottled ales and ciders, spirits and a short cocktail list including espresso martinis. Specific drinks can be requested but may require a deposit.
- How far in advance should we book?
- Peak Saturdays between May and September go early - often twelve to eighteen months ahead. Midweek dates and the winter months are usually available at much shorter notice, so it is always worth asking.
